Well, for once there is extremely annoying delay I experience when the file explorer /file open dialog opens. It takes the investigational skills of one Mark Russinovich to figure out what’s going on.

I can only say to the Vista programmers: Such features are absolutely uncalled for. Which customer exactly stated the requirement that he/she would sacrifice a fast file explorer for the sake of displaying the directory string a little nicer? John McEnroe’s statement to this:

You cannot be serious!

What’s up with the periodic disk thrashing that can really get in the way on my 2GB RAM laptop is yet another matter, but I won’t go there for now…
