Elitzur-Vaidman bomb-testing problem:

 

This is a thought experiment in quantum mechanics, although its core has been realized in quantum experiments. The explanation given here is noteworthy, since it provides a glimpse into quantum logic and why no answer may sometimes mean that there is an answer, since the answer plays a role in not answering…if you see what I mean.
